Your Own Christmas Tree at a Disney Resort

October 29, 2009

christmas-treeIf you are visiting on Christmas Eve, you can surprise the kids with a Christmas tree from Disney Florist.  This tree to the left is called the Neverland Tree themed after Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, perfect for a Disney World vacation.

You can order the tree online and they will deliver it to your room ready for Christmas.  These trees are incredible and you can choose from lots of different styles for adults or kids.  After Christmas, Disney Florist will ship the tree home to your house for future Christmases to come.   For more information about the Christmas Trees from Disney Florist, visit this website.

Christmas Recreation at Disney World

October 22, 2009

Besides the amazing decorations, entertainment, and special events, there are even recreational activities just for the Holiday Season.  One of the most popular recreation activities is the Horse Drawn Carriage Rides.  Imagine a ride around Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort with bells a jingling.  This fun Carriage Ride is 30 minutes for a family of 4 people.

At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort you can enjoy a hayride while you sing Christmas carols.  This fun hayride is held nightly and is fun for kids of all ages.  You can enjoy a dinner at Hoop Dee Doo and then take a hayride.

Visiting Disney World During the Holidays

October 21, 2009

The Walt Disney World Resort is a magical place year round, but there is something extra magical about visiting Disney World during the Christmas Season.  Disney has beautiful decorations, special events, and entertainment at all of the Disney Theme Parks, Downtown Disney, and Disney Resorts.  As an Orlando local and travel agent with Destinations in Florida Travel, I thought I would have a blog all about the fun things to do at Disney World and Orlando for the Holiday Season.  Join me on my adventures of snow at Magic Kingdom, ICE at Gaylord Palms, and pet visits with Santa Claus!
